S.S.: Hello my name is Shell Shell and what's your name? G.O.: My name is Gwen Osgard. S.S.: Today I'll like to interview you with a few questions about this neighborhood. So what were your first impressions of the neighborhood or community here? G.O.: My first impression of City Heights is that it's extremely diverse, which is wonderful. We have people from all over the world. We have restaurants and clothing stores that reflect a world view. S.S.: Do you feel safe or unsafe in this neighborhood? G.O.: I usually feel safe in City Heights but I'm always aware that we have crime in City Heights and we have problems in City Heights, so I always pay attention to my surroundings. S.S.: Do you think your family accepts different cultures? G.O.: My family? My family definitely accepts different cultures. My husband and I raise our children to love diversity and to have friends and relatives and family members from diverse cultures. S.S.: What would you like to say about Crawford High School? G.O.: Crawford High School is my absolute favorite school in San Diego. I've worked at several schools. Lincoln, Hoover, Bano Academy [unknown], ACPA, and Crawford High School is the most wonderful place I've ever worked. Working at Crawford High School brings the world to you especially when you don't have the opportunity to travel and see the world. The kids will teach you everything. S.S.: Okay thank you. G.O.: Thank you.
