Hello, what's your name? My name is Shareef Shareef. So, Shareef, we're doing a project on how do you think about, what's your opinion on the City Heights community and Crawford Area. The first question is what was it like moving to your neighborhood? The first night I moved to City Heights I heard a gunshot. It made me feel like this place is very dangerous. So, did you, you didn't feel safe around here? No, I did not. I did not feel safe at all. First night here, gunshot, I'm thinking like, there's a lot of death around here. So, what kind of vibe do you get around this neighborhood, then? Vibe I get, it's ah [crosstalk]. Sometimes it's kinda dangerous, like paranoid, anything could happen to you in the street. You could get shot or anything. So, what kind of people do you surround yourself with? I surround myself with people that motivate me, or have, they're very ambitious. Yeah. So, what makes you feel safe? What makes me feel safe? Hanging around with my cousins, my brothers, hanging around as a group, not always by myself. Where do you like to hang out and spend time with friends? I hang out at the nearest park, Colina Park, I hang out at like, Ibarra Elementary. So, how would you describe this neighborhood to someone that was never been here before? Some part of the neighborhood is safe, and some part is not. Most like, the southeast, not very safe. But down like, City Heights, very safe here. Alright, thank you Shareef. Thank you sir.
