Why was it so important for you to help out April or some other refugee student that you know they are willing to go to four-year university?

April was the first of this group of students that I met and made a commitment to them, that I would keep working with them throughout their education, whether it was at Crawford, at City College, or at SDSU, and basically to get April into SDSU was like the culmination of five years of our relationship, it was a long, long term goal that we had together, so now of course we have a new goal. New goal is for her to graduate from SDSU, just getting into it is not enough, so the next goal, which is probably going to take three more years, is for her to graduate from SDSU, so it's a step-by-step process, that's why it was so important for me to help her get it. She means a lot to me.
